OPGW-central stainless tube type
Application:
1. Replacing existing aerial ground wires, upgrading communications lines of power systems
2. Synchronous planning and designing when new aerial power lies are to be constructed.
3. Providing stainless steel tube fiber unit with optimal protection
4. Favourable tension-sag matching with diffluent ground wire
Structure Characteristics
1. Small cable diameter, light weight, low additional load to poles/towers
2. The stainless steel tube fiber unit is placed in the center of the strand layer
3. Obtaining appropriate fiber excess length(primary) within stainless tube
4. With single armouring the OPGW has a bit poor flexure and crush resisitance, and a bit poor tensile strength.
5. Obtaining the best balance of elecric and mechanic performance by adjusting AA/SS combination
